The Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program at Zhejiang University aims to develop leaders in local governments with global vision who excel in promoting good governance in China's east coastal and inland areas. The mission is fulfilled by recruiting, educating, and inspiring students to pursue careers in local governments, locally-based central agencies, or social organizations. We provide mid-career students with a comprehensive curriculum in public administration, public policy, and public governance, as well as stimulating opportunities and visits to cutting-edge local governance innovation cases in China and abroad. The MPA curriculum stimulates students' public service motivation and encourages them to lead as policy entrepreneurs by facilitating advanced public management theories and policy analytical skills aligned towards better governance by their governments or agencies.
