The MPA Education Center, Zhejiang University and the local government of Deqing County work together to build the Innovation Demonstration Base on New Countryside Construction in Deqing County for Postgraduate Education as the site for social practices, with the purposes to match college education with local needs for economic and social development, enhance the industry-college-research system led by local governments, explore inclusive education mode of postgraduates, improve the innovation capabilities in postgraduates. The Leadership Group on the Construction of the Innovation Demonstration Base on Postgraduate Education co-led by the MPA Education Center and the local government guides the project construction, standardizes the facilities, working conditions and working procedures of the base, and organizes social practices based on the needs, educational background, professional skills and interests of students.

1. Visit Wusi Village, the National Liveable Demonstration Village, for infrastructure on social governance, service information window and rural library.

2. Visit Village Culture Hall, the themed gallery on new countryside construction of Wusi Village, to learn about how the village promotes programs like 100% land transfer and Four Integration with the promotional video, experiencing the historical changes and cultural heritage in person.

3. Visit the Orchid Garden, waste recycle station and specialty homestays to learn about innovative moves of Wusi Village on new countryside construction.
